You'll know everyone on tour by name — and so will we.

David & Alexandra Teakle

Owners

David & Alexandra Teakle

David grew up in the farming community of Northampton, WA, while Alexandra spent her childhood in the UK. After experiencing life in various locations across the globe and Australia, David and Alexandra embarked on a remarkable journey around Australia with their young family. Captivated by the beauty of the outback and the Kimberley, they felt inspired to share this breathtaking country with others. Kimberley Outback Tours started in 2006 before being bought by David and Alexandra in early 2023, allowing them to continue the tradition of providing comfortable, small group excursions to Australia's outback, guided by the best professionals in the industry.

David is the front man of Kimberley Outback Tours, handling everything from answering your calls to managing the business and occasionally stepping in as your tour driver or guide.

Alexandra currently works behind the scenes, overseeing our website, social media, and marketing.

Dooma & Liz

Kimberley Hosts

Dooma & Liz

Dooma and Liz's love of travel began more than 34 years ago when they moved to the UK and spent a year exploring abroad. Back in Australia, they continued their adventures by taking their young family on a dream trip around Australia — and their passion for travel only grew from there.

Now based in Broome, they have spent the past six years living, working, and exploring the beautiful Kimberley region they proudly call home. Along the way, they have taken on caretaking roles at some of Western Australia's most iconic destinations, including Woody Island off Esperance, Karijini National Park, and Purnululu National Park. Today, they are delighted to share their knowledge, stories, and deep love of WA with KOT passengers, creating memorable experiences and showcasing the beauty, culture, and spirit of the Kimberley and beyond.
